Meanwhile here is still some information on the acoustic CD
PROFESSOR BOTTLENECK & FRANK BORN:
"ROLLING BONES"
PROFESSOR BOTTLENECK & FRANK BORN, one of those very rare partnerships and even friendships in the blues business. Here they are again in the limelight: the “Professor” with his shining tricone resonator guitar in his arms, and Frank, eyes closed and magically luring the first notes out of that least conspicuous of all instruments, the blues harmonica. Another trip through the landscapes and stories of the blues. Another encounter that leaves these musicians and their audience entranced. And in reply to all those impatient questions about their next CD, here it is:
“ROLLING BONES”, rolling between fortune and hard luck, between the traditional and the modern, the bitter and the sweet, white and black, north and south and east and west, aggression and healing, the campfire and the saloon, Hokum and Chicago, the Sub Sahara and the Mississippi…
They are joined by a double-bass player who can pack a symphony orchestra, a jazz band and a juke box into one solid bass lick: Jörg Ruppert.
